Na haar opleidingen aan de Willem de Kooning Academie (CMD) en de Fotovakschool (Fotografische Vormgeving) ging Nathalie aan de slag als modefotograaf. Haar werk is zowel nationaal als internationaal gepubliceerd in magazines als Elle, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, Grazia en Women’s Health. Daarbij heeft ze verschillende reclamecampagnes gefotografeerd voor grote en kleine modemerken.
Wanneer Nathalie niet in de derde persoon over zichzelf schrijft is ze bezig met het vastleggen van haar interesse: Mensen en hun persoonlijkheden. Ze is ervan overtuigd dat een spontane maar integere aanpak de sleutel is tot haar werk; geloofwaardige fotografie met een modische schoonheid. Haar werkwijze is toepasbaar op iedereen die natuurgetrouw maar verfijnd geportretteerd wil worden; door haar jarenlange ervaring als modefotograaf weet ze het beste uit de persoon voor haar lens te halen, ongeacht hun ervaring voor de camera.
Inmiddels is ze gesetteld met haar eerste liefde en haar dochtertje in de natuur in het midden van Nederland. Haar nieuw verkregen focus wil ze inzetten voor wat ze belangrijk vindt: Haar gezin, het maken van authentieke connecties, en om de mensen die ze fotografeert gelukkig te maken met haar werk.

Is a photographer with a love for people
After finishing her education at the Willem de Kooning Academy (CMD) and the University of Applied Photography (Photographic Design) Nathalie started her career as a fashion photographer. Her work has been published both nationally and internationally in magazines like Cosmopolitan, Elle, Glamour, Women’s Health, Grazia and Harper’s Bazaar. Additionally she’s photographed campaigns for various fashion brands.
When Nathalie isn’t busy writing about herself in the third person she’s occupied capturing her interest: People and their personalities. She’s convinced her spontaneous yet sincere approach is the key to her work; believeable photography with a fashion esthetic. Her way of working is suitable for anyone who wants to be portrayed naturally yet refined; because of her work as a fashion photographer she’s able to get the best out of her subject, despite their experience in front of the camera.
Meanwhile she has settled down with her first love and her daughter in a woody spot in the center of the Netherlands. She wants to apply her newly acquired focus to the things she finds important: Her family, making true connections, and to make the people she photographs happy with her work.
